Importing Data with DrillSpot

We've worked hard over the past year to allow you to pull all the data you need into one unified drilling workspace. We are proud to announce all of the following data types can be imported or parsed into DrillSpot:

‍

Time and depth traces come in as .xlsx, .csv, or .las, and we made the import process as easy as possible.

COMPASS EDM files import as .edm.xml, and the well plan, well header, and survey program all come as a package or in separate files. DrillSpot bends to your workflow.

Mud reports and DDRs get imported automatically by an AI report parser, so the details are usable inside DrillSpot right away.

Surveys and well plans import as .xlsx, .csv, or .txt, if not using COMPASS. Setting up a new well in DrillSpot is simple.

BHA components import from a PDF, a spreadsheet, a PowerPoint, or a photo of a handwritten sheet off the rig floor. However the spec showed up, DrillSpot's AI parser reads it.

Torque and drag models arrive as .xlsx or .csv and plot in the same workspace as your live WITSML stream, your drilling parameters, and your geosteering interpretation.

If you're already using DrillSpot, these imports are live. If you're not, this is as good a place as any to start.
